Gus, your post left me shell-shocked! That is some incredibly heavy stuff. I agree that what you wrote "could be" close to truth. I know that French were not keen on seeing US meddling in their sphere of influence. Americans
forcing Mubuto out certainly didn't go down to good with French! They also did suspect US invovlement in bombing the
French jetliner in 1991(??) over Chad. Last but not least, percking up Nigerian led Ecomog in West Africa was not appreciated by French righ eaither. I wouldn't suprise me
if they would re-act. But bobing the ambassies of an "friendly" nation!!

At the end Gadaffi got the shits!
