Re: Bullish Indicators

"With the general consensus being that the market is going to make some sort of move after the election, it's a good time to take a look at our war chest of sentiment indicators for a feel of what direction the market may go. First, the ever-reliable CBOE equity put/call ratio. As we have continually mentioned, this popular ratio has indicated a market poised for a substantial bull-run.

"As of Friday, the 21-day moving average of this ratio was at 0.60 and declining rapidly. A quick descent of this trendline has historically coexisted with bullish market conditions. We are forecasting that the 21-day will continue declining to at least the 0.55 range, at which point the downtrend may slow. The faster-moving 10-day moving average of this ratio has declined sharply since October 18 from the 0.70 range to its current 0.51. Current forecasts for the 10-day have flattened out, which may have implications for the 21-day in the near future."
