Note that TSTN and LNUX are two of today's "off the cliff" stocks, per revenue/earnings warnings. TSTN off nearly 50% pre-market, LNUX about 40%...

The 'holidility' was great...the momo was already in place due to the M2. Then in Jan we got the bucket of ice water instead of champaign<g>

Looking at CTXS, AFCI and GBLX (soon to be GX)...any thoughts?

. . . .Pre-Market View. . . . .

AMCC/PMCS both hot this AM. But what is a real head turner is the move by some of our tiny babies.

Remember our "Electronic Signature" baby, C.I.C.? Having news with IBM.

Or how about our favorite forgotten B2B SAM? . . .which seems to be finally making a turn northward, prompted along by a few newsletters. . . . .it could see a big pop this week.

EFCX popped in pre-market on deal to sell their batteries at Wal-Mart. I still believe this stock is overinflated on it thought to be Fuel Cell related for so long. Todays pop back over 10 looks like a nice short-sell opportunity. . . speaking of which. . . .

. . . . . CORL and RHAT weakening on LNUX warning.

Covad hot in pre-market on SBC equity investment.

Meanwhile, I am not expecting much significance out of today's action. . . much like Friday. . . as everyone awaits the CSCO earnings. . . . and a few wait on the election returns.

Rande,

Here is the latest run for Phoenix...ran screens again and filtered out:

If we want to get it tight, throw out lower volume (last few days) and weaker charts...

We could also throw out small market caps ( SOS, smsc, talx, tzix, maybe pke). Any thoughts? Should we keep'em?

BTW - does anybody have a phoenix play to add to this list?

TSTN warns. Telecom equip makers, very risky right now imo.

Earnings is the theme. Everywhere I look it's show me the money.

Turnstone says cutting Q4 revenue estimate

NEW YORK, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Telecommunications products maker Turnstone Systems Inc. <TSTN.O>, citing sector-wide weakness for local telephone companies, said on Friday that revenues for the
fourth quarter will be sharply below previous estimates.

Turnstone, whose flagship product is used by telephone companies to manage and maintain high-speed DSL Internet connections, said in a statement it now expects revenue of about $38 million in the
quarter ending December. Analysts surveyed by research firm First Call/Thomson Financial on average expected $56.25 million in revenues for the quarter.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Turnstone said it lowered its estimates because of the scaling back of the development of computer networks and the reduction in financing opportunities.

Guidance on first quarter 2001 finances will be provided when the company reports fourth-quarter results, the company said.

Shares of Turnstone closed at $29-1/2 on Friday on the Nasdaq after having traded as high as $107 in the last 52 weeks.
