Calling Hitler right-wing and Stalin left-wing may be correct in a manner of speaking but don't those appellations tend to obscure the point that these men were savage despots? Neither could implement their views in a free society. To use either man in making a political point in the context of republican vs democrat should be out of bounds.

Once you get to the extremes, its difficult to tell left from right. I also subscribe to the theory that Hitler was more leftie than rightie. I guess I must be an idiot too. Reading CharleyMane's posts it is easy to determine that he is both thoughtful and intelligent.
