Dear Bosco: I didnt realize I had an outburst. (gg) However, its too late now, but I really wish you had read Gores Book. Maybe someone else here besides me has read it and would like to comment. If he isnt an ecological zealot then I dont know what a zealot is!!
As to Bush/McCain, to be totally honest I have forgotten the details, but I had thought it was McCain who was a little nasty to Bush and Bush who merely smiled and waited for him to come around...which he did. haha. But, I am not campaigning for McCain, though I would have as I respect him also, I gotta campaign for who we got and thats Bush. Are you aware that the Lt. Gov. of Texas (A DEMOCRAT) in an UNHEARD of manner supported BUSH for Govenor this past term. Are you aware that until Bush came along Texas was predominately Democrat yet after his first term he won his second term with a COMMANDING PERCENTAGE of the voters of all political persuasions. Please contrast that with Gore who very likely is going to lose his home state to Bush. Now, wouldnt you agree the people of each of those states know there own man better then we? Not only that but all the states surrounding Texas apparently are going for Bush. I think that is because he is a pragmatic person. He is a uniter willing to accept half a loave rather than none at all. People come away from his negotiations feeling both sides won, now isnt that better then bitter acrimony? JDN
