Lino... It might have been Geraldo. You don't like him, I gather? I take him with a grain of salt. I try to glean what I can, and ignore his bias. I recall one Geraldo show on the drug smuggling from Mexico into the US. He even went in helicopter with Mexican military troops who flew out to remote poppy fields to whack and burn. What he FAILED TO SAY was that the Mexican military staged the whole thing. The guys were all neatly dressed, and well-fed. Their boots were sparkling clean and their uniforms pressed. I suspect it was the most work they had done in weeks. It was sooooo obvious to me that the Mexican military most likely turns a blind eye to the poppy fields except when someone like Geraldo comes into town. Hey, maybe they even planted the frigging poppies themselves just in case they could get on TV?! Like I said, I take him with a grain of salt, and come away with as much as I can. canuck-l-head
