Yes. Ford was a remarkable man, with a crushing blindness. Hitler drew supporters from a wide spectrum, each with own reasons to be attracted to him. I think the poster who put him in the category of despot, eschewing a wing or party alignment was on the mark. Someone representing only themselves has no alignment with a party or coalition of peoples.
