Dear Swiss Trader: I am very disappointed in your remarks as to Reagan. I will bet I speak for the majority on this thread of either persuasion that Reagan made them feel better as an American. I will also bet that everyone here is glad to be done with the "cold war". You can speak as to his deficits if you wish but as a Man he was among our best. JDN

swissy, it's about leadership. Reagan was a people person, and knew how to lead. Gore is more in the Carter mold. Smart, but would be an awful president. Bush has proven is can bring 2 sides together to reach a consensus and get things done. He is a proven leader. His job approval rating is sky high. Even the democrats in Texas like him. Tomorrow is going to be fun, I plan on getting no work done, as I soak up every wonderful minute!!
