Paul: I would like to short something too if I thought CSCO was going to take the NAZ down. I shorted EMLX at the close yesterday at 171. However, off the open it had me worried. Went up to 174+ and when it dropped back to 169, I covered 1/2 of the position. It kept toying above 171 for a while after it hit 168 and when it dropped below 165 I covered the rest. Even though the money wasn't bad I can't say it was worth the anxiety. OF coarse I tend to place heavier bets than I probably should which increases the stress level -- keeps my weight down -- maybe I can develop a stock trading weight loss program and sell it as a new high tech way to loose weight while sitting at your computer. Shorting is dangerous in this market. I got caught on CIEN a few days ago -- lost a fair amount. Be careful GH
