Jay, if you remember late in 1999, I had that axiom of excess liquidity coming into the market from Japan Postal. It turn out it was much less than I expected, and the fact that in the last quarter government spending also went down put additional restraints on liquidity. Liquidity is indeed a very important factor, and one of the reasons I do have a bad year next year in my forecast.

In the meanwhile, I once more admitting to an error and jumped back into VTSS at $79-7/8, when it retreated from a new daily high above $80. Ya, left some on the table (g).

Jay, nice post
Good digging.

Where can we track movements in liquidity?
Is there an index or something?
