Yes Don, you know the Japanese psyche much better than I do. During the last year we had influx of liquidity of about $180 B, I doubt that more than half was "overflow" from the Postal, I expected overflows of about $200 B in that period. By the way, when i say "overflow" I do not mean direct investment here, but buying world wide other securities, which then cause "overflow" of liquidity to these markets. Now, if inflows of $180 B could not keep our markets afloat, guess what happens if we start and get outflows? The fact that Summers did not go into the market on a buying binges of treasuries, when it could have done the most for the incumbanmt, tells me that something is fishy, I do not believe in "political altruism", if he could he would.
