Wireless for the "last mile" may be the best solution and the "last mile" is certainly holding up general access to the promise of broadband offered by high speed long haul fiberoptic lines. It would be nice if GLW was involved in that segment as well but I think they will do fine even if they aren't. A solution to the "last mile" problem will only increase demands on the rest of the infrastructure that GLW is helping to build out. In other words I see the "last mile" as an opportunity but not a threat. Comments of others?
