Your profile says that you joined SI just today, and it appears that you are posting only on this thread. Are you a Gore shill, testing the waters? If your posts are sponsored by a political candidate, party, or PAC, I believe you are required to disclose that fact in each of your posts.

The media loves scandal. Nothing is too scandalous. Remember Lewinsky, Brodderick, Willey, and Jones? But how is it that the names in this story became public only today, the day before the election? Coincidence? CNN ran Flynt's first claims. Is it running this follow-up? Are you sure of the source? Do you think such a last-minute disclosure, even if it were true, would be seen by anyone as anything but a cheap dirty trick, galvanizing Bush support and anti-Gore sentiment?

The act of your posting this information here makes me want to get to the polls early and volunteer for Bush, something I've never done. The liberals might be overlooking the fact that this kind of stuff throws fuel on the fire.

Gore has said that to win the presidency, you have to rip out your opponent's lungs. The tactics we are being treated to lead me to believe that the orders and timing to divulge the OUI story, and the other smears, came straight from the lung ripper's mouth, or at least with his knowledge and approval. I think the general public has caught on.
