The Bush-win bearishness on this thread is amusing. We know what the candidates say they're going to do. What we don't know is how it will play out. Republicans being bad for the stock market is kind of funny too. The inflation of the Carter era was the driving force behind the economy-crushing interest rates of the early eighties. Once those interest rates peaked a prolonged uptrend began.
