Seems to me that while you may have a point, CSCO earnings have been the poster child of predictability...

In your opinion. GE makes the bulk of their money from their financial interest. Why not price them like the other financials? Their margins are low in the other divisions. Defense spending is down. Appliances are down. NBC is a failure. Their cyclical alright and overpriced to boot. CSCO is not a one item company. The entire telecom sector is diverse enough to defy the label you seem to want to place on it. If you think washing machines and engines, along with financials are less subject to interest rates than high tech, we disagree.
