Since Gallup has increased its sampling size, its numbers have calmed down substantially. After moving the size above 2,000 (was below 1,000), the 8 days of results have been Bush by: 3,3,5,4,6,4,5,2. This is an average of 4% lead for Bush over the last 8 days, about exactly where I believe the "true" lead is. Not surprisingly, these now mirror what POA been saying all along, i.e., that the race isn't as volatile as many of the lower sample size polls suggest.

Zogby, to my knowledge, is still using a 1,000 sample size.
