I AM AN INVESTOR. PERIOD! END OF SUBJECT. Is somebody paying you to bash this company or are you just a short seller that is spreading false propaganda on the Internet? Your bold print hype clearly shows a lack of knowing how to analyze a company's financial statements, and in particular you don't know anything about this company. The only reason they are losing money on gum right now is because they don't have enough volume to cover their fixed costs. Do you really expect anyone to believe that they will lose money on gum NO MATTER HOW MUCH VOLUME they have? If you really believe that, you truly are a complete moron. Do you know what the gross margin is on their current gum products and how much of their cost of goods sold are fixed? If you don't then you are completely uniformed and your opinion is a big ZERO. To Hanky: The company said: From Gum Tech's October 26, 2000 press release: William Hemelt, Gum Tech's Chief Financial Officer, stated, "Gum Tech gum sales declined for the quarter, which was expected. We are diligently working to add new customers and are optimistic that our R&D work on a variety of gum products with major customers will come to fruition very soon." Does the "s" at the end of customer mean there might be more than one? I don't know if there is or not, but even one of them would make the gum business profitable. And last time I checked, JNJ didn't make toothpaste. I guess they could get into the dental gum business, but I would suspect that a company that sells toothpaste is more likely.
