First of all, let me apologize in advance for being a bit
vague. My info is solid, but I do not want to get anybody
into trouble. By necessity, I have to continue to be opaque.
Wall Street clearly knows the tide is shifting. Watch the
volume to decide if this is Ma and Pa Kettle buying for
their IRA. I don't think so :-)

My intention on this board was to help some of the Ancor faithful
who put up with a lot over the last year. A couple of weeks
ago, I detected several depressed souls talking about dumping
their shares at $76 and moving on to the promised land of
Brocade, Emulex, Microsoft, or whatever. I had confidence
this would have been a mistake difficult to live down. I
felt bad that Craig Stevenson missed out last year. If anyone
deserved a payoff, Craig did. That is why I reappeared to
buck up a few doubters.

Back to the original info. One might want to investigate how
a Clarion is put together and the relationship with McData/Brocade
and McData/EMC. For those in the IT business, you can get some
quotes and delivery info for a Clarion with certain switches.
Also, realize that EMC moves in strange ways to obscure what
they are up to. They have several disparate product lines
that bring in big bucks. They do not want to kill off the
golden goose so they maneuver with entities they effectively
control.

Note, I am not inferring anything regarding the director
switches---just the Clarion and 16-port arrangements. I
do believe this bodes well for the future, however. Also,
we must anticipate many twists and turns since storage is
a very, very competitive industry. Way too early to declare
winners and losers.

Hope this helps...
