If a good case could have been made out against him, he would not have retained such a high level of support. There was either nothing on him, or his opponents were incompetent.......

Dear bigsablepoint: No, but when you serve a term, then get reelected another term by a 68% margin in a state where the Dems outnumber the Reps. he must have done something right. I can tell you I was in a sports bar several years ago in San Antonio watching a football game (UofF vs Tenn) and I didnt see any obvious Spanish background people there but when I started asking about Bush EVERYONE was very proud of him and seemed to like him a lot. JDN
