D.J. Smyth, I was surprised to see the news today that IBM will be joining with Iomega to sell their 340 MB MicroDrive under the Iomega Brand!!! How about that! Now, maybe Wall Street will show a bit more interest and respect for IOM now that IBM has shown such a close relationship with Iomega. Bruce and company are doing a super job selling and marketing both products and the company. Very Good News! Mel

what is the probability that IOM is saving announcements for comdex based on past history?<<

D.J. -

Based on past history, the probability is very good. Then again, throughout most of Iomega's history one was dealing with CEOs other than Albertson.

Also, I should point out that in the past people have looked forward to blockbuster COMDEX announcements out of Iomega, only to be somewhat underwhelmed. There were always announcements, but often of a "vaporware" variety.

I'd bet they have some tidbits to release on Monday, though. Enough to move the stock? Who knows?
