GC - re: E Waves...

.... can these guys be right if they see things differently than Prechter ?

- who's right, the student, or the teacher ?

Euro intervention again; the Argentine & Australian currency problems getting S-E-R-I-O-U-S among others...

The old economy DOW - can't run to 12,000 with a weak Euro/Strong Dollar - as it kills US Corporate Profits. DOW isn't running to 12,000 on weaker earnings... and if the dollar falls - we see foreign repatriation of funds out of the US & the DOW can't move up into the face of that - we've got record margin allready in here & a negative US Savings rate - a catch -22; I don't buy it.

Again; calls are interesting here for this OSX pullback - keep the upside; minimize the risk - perfect spot for utilizing calls... looks like either a "V" bottom homerun; or head & shoulders top - nightmare on Elm St... define & limit your downside while keeping significant & if not leveraging the upside for less total exposure...

Market calling for a Bush win by a good margin here ?

Liking as usual MRL & ATW on the bottoms of these banded trading ranges - got a $2/10% play on MRL just via stops & limits on the last pullback bounce and now back in ATW & MRL today.

Jim L - got me a nibble on MVK - small; but we'll test that tubular theory... MVK says pricing is improving, drilling demand did offset import pressures on inventories; but see's Q4 coming inline - .15- .20Cish... it looks like a trade. Hopefully oversold on NSS over-reaction. - it's a monster if the cycle expands to 2002.

Got a "call" shopping list for tomorrow on any pre-API, or election jitters if seen; but don't plan on going more than 35%-45 back in Oils here; for a 35% Oil/35% Gold & 20-30% cash position - but, with tight stops on the oils; a "V" bottom bounce, or I stop out at OSX 113ish...
