Such comments remind me of seeing William F. Buckley and David Susskind on TV about 30 years ago discussing why the media was so overwhelmingly liberal. Susskind offered matter-of-factly that this state of affairs was natural since there were so few intelligent conservatives. He seemed very confident of this. I recall thinking how incredibly arrogant that outlook was.

The mirror image of Susskind's opinion is no less arrogant, I think.
