...conservatives are, as a group, better educated and more politically knowledgeable than liberals, ... Such comments remind me of seeing William F. Buckley and David Susskind on TV about 30 years ago discussing why the media was so overwhelmingly liberal. Susskind offered matter-of-factly that this state of affairs was natural since there were so few intelligent conservatives. He seemed very confident of this. I recall thinking how incredibly arrogant that outlook was. The mirror image of Susskind's opinion is no less arrogant, I think.
