This is not a sell off. CSCO down 3%, Nas down 25 pts. or so.
Amazing. If CSCO comes out with nice stuff I'd have to say this market is ready to rock.

Re. the sometimes quite detailed discussions here about MP3, the music industry and how it is going to handle Napster, etc. I just came across an amazingly good article in Atlantic Monthly on the topic. IMO the author did a very good job, involving history of music copyright (including some v interesting background on Sir Arthur Sullivan and HIS problems with music copyright before the turn of the century), recent events with Napster and Metallica (well, more recent than Gilbert & Sullivan), different kinds of music royalties, and so on.
