Jim,

Houston is a very nice city, except for three months a year when the afternoons are unbearable to be outside.

When I lived in Phoenix, I used to soak my shirt and drive with the windows rolled down to keep cool. I made the mistake of trying this once in Houston, and nearly passed out.
