Weeeeeel, It's a long story Chris but essentially about two years ago a friend of mine and I happened to notice a correspondence between MAG and OEX. Since we had a good set of indicators on OEX I decided to start trading/market timing it. BTW it is one of the few relatively "easy" funds to move in and out of that my company allows, hence MAG. Also since I am nearing retirement I was looking for a "sure thang". gg

I should note here that I am a super novice at trading, so not being much of a gambler I decided to stick with MAG. Just on the face of it, if I decide to do nothing I have always had a reasonable return on my money except for a coupla years ago when they had that nut in there that tried to "destroy" the fund.gg This year may be another exception, but this time I'm ready for them. ha

I have been meaning to browse the other funds and see if there is a similar synergy but doing the 8-5 engineer/pilot/boat etc. I just stuck with it. Comfort breeds lethargy!!! barf, (note to self, gotta be more aggresssssssive!)ggg

Also Chris, I should note that the state-of-the-art in display technology has changed dramatically since we started this endevour. I suspect now I could do the same trick with any of the mutual funds since I have the indicators available on a lot of charting packages.
Many happy returns,

Paul Kellam
