OK - here is the chocolate cake recipe. It is old - from a neighbor of my mother's when she was a child. Mrs. Hendrickson's Chocolate Cake (can be doubled) 2 squares unsweetened chocolate 1/2 Cup BUTTER 1 Cup sugar 1/2 Cup milk 1 Cup flour 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 2 eggs Vanilla Melt chocolate. Cream sugar and butter well. Add eggs. Add melted chocolate. Add the remaining ingredients. (I add a pinch of salt.) Square greased pan. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the center is comes out clean.
