I believe the selling is in earnest. Nope. Check that. Not in Earnest. No way. I gots kinfolk in Earnest. After readin yer post, I tried to ring them up, but gots no anser. So I ringed up Miss Hattie. She am the regional operater. She swears to me on Uncle Caleb's grave that no one in Earnest has made any calls today. None. Nadda. Aint even but 1.That means no sellin and no byin. Not in Earnest. She tells me though that Clem, he's my cusin with the dyabeats, got hisself a case of gang green in his right feet and thats why noone ansers the phone yet. Theys all still at Doc Floyds place near a mite to Clays farm waitin fer to see whut hapins. Miss Hattie tole me a buncha stuff Ida rather not herd, so Ill spar you the detales.
