Thanks for that insight. I think what many fail to see is the frustration in the Republican ranks. For 40 years the party was virtually relegated to the sidelines while they watched program after program for which they had only minimal input fail one after the other. In the mean time the Democrats could point a finger and say "look the Republicans do nothing for you". It was easy to refer back with some justification to the "robber baron" days when we were less than we could have been, as for keeping us sidelined. The only chance was to wait until the public started to wise up and or they dropped the ball. It appears that's happened over the last eight years. The old saying of "absolute power corrupts absolutely" was finally born out. Let's hope we handle the change wisely.
