Greg, The earnings (&the CC) was a green light to buy Cisco.

One would have had nerves to be very long or very short this stock going into earnings. The uncertainty kept people away.

Given that-----if we had been in a period of time when the inflows into the market were slow, CSCO would be headed down the day after.

However, since money flow into the market is positive and those worried about buying it pre-earnings would not be swayed to buying this stock. If I was not long this stock, there was no way I would have RISKED buying it before the earnings given the talk of spending slowdown.

IMHO, there is no doubt that Cisco will now trend with the Nasdaq and lead it higher. Now that the uncertainty has been lifted, the money inflow will find its way into Cisco and the investors who held on will not be selling without a decent gain. The shorts will be covering and we should have a run up like we saw in Microsoft recently.
