>I must say the Lions are a weird franchise. Barry Sanders' retirement was weird. Bobby Ross' retirement is weird. And the Wayne Fontes era was a bit strange, too. Are you guys perhaps the victims of the Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times"?

Tom, you nailed it. This has been a weird team for a long time. What is the weirdest about it is its incredible inconsistency from game to game...We can look like superhumans by beating the best teams one night (especially on Monday nights) and then lose to the worst team in the worst way the next game. Sunday's game was just painful to watch, I mean, we were down 14-0 before the offense took a snap! No fire at all and noone knows what the hell is wrong, it has been like this for years.

I respect Bobby Ross and wish him the best. Detroit will miss him.

The constant in this franchise has been the Fords and I believe they have the curse on this team...

Regardless, the Lions remain the worst 5-4 team in the NFL.

I still believe<g>
