I hope you are right, and history says you are. The only reason I am cautious is that the market seems to be a lot less receptive to high p/e's these days.

I wonder what Tim Luke's take on the cc was. After all he downgraded csco last week. His question on the cc was pretty lame, so someone my have put a muzzle on him.

If CSCO was going to devastate "The Market" like Nortel
there would have been a lot of other companies trading down big-time After Hours. Last CSCO trade after hours 54 3/8.

MRV moved up to 37 1/2 after hours. I listened to the CC: and I heard substantial growth in OPTICAL more than a few times.

JDSU down to 77...during Nortel it went down into the low 60's.

OCPI first day up 68% second day in a very, very nervous
market up another 16%. Not bad for an "Optical Company" no one ever heard of before IPO.

It is CSFB's job to tell the story in a first class fashion. .
Robbie Stevens, etc. I think they are capable

The market for Fiber Optical stocks have been re-evaluated and priced down.
I don't expect, with a sector that has real growth, is going to just disappear like the "dot.com" stocks.

Yeah, we longs are not going to see LUME move to 120 the first day as it would have last year.

What effect on the price of MRV will LUME have if it ends trading at $13?
We are going to benefit from the coverage that will take place after the LUME IPO.
Then Optical Access ( I can't remember the symbol)....more coverage....Dec or Jan.
Zaffire making noise...Itouch making a little noise.

These recent assessments of LUME just show they have only read approximately five minutes
about this company. Hell, if that's all the DD you want to do...don't buy it!

For those that are only going to be in this stock for a week....a lot to worry about...?

For those that are going to be in this stock...one...two years...still worry but MRV will not be in the thirties more than a couple of days? In my not so humble opinion.

We will see the thirties again...after it splits again.

John.....and I am negative. HEE, HEE

No, they're way too big to grow at 60%, NOT. They have been guiding investors toward the 30-50% range for the last couple of years. To suddenly raise the bar to 50-60% is no small thing. I guess you have to be small and nimble like an MRVC in order to be able to sustain that type of growth. Good grief.knc
