CSCO is a great world leading company. So is Nortel. LU is a wider question and a play for re invention.
THere is room for more than one sucess story in this explosive sector.

Some of the threads are idiotic; with abso9lute rubbish..ie csco will be at 30 tommorrow, this thread to its credit seems half reasonable.

I just wanted to point out that in my view the NT debacle was way way overdone.

I hold in both NT and Cisco. long

Let's put it this way.

LU got it's teeth kicked out and until they get management in gear again they are dead money in the markets.

NT will be back. But I don't see the growth for them that Cisco has had for the last few years. I still like NT though. I don't own it.

Cisco's products are in the "sweet spot" of the Internet infrastructure.

In short LU is a turnaround candidate, lots of good pieces that are slowly getting disconnected. If they could get good management......

NT will be back quickly...

But here is the killer...Cisco is still EXECUTING.
