I think you're overstating his comments. "Challenges" is a more appropriate assesment.

FESBAH, I believe he was talking about some CLECS and lower
spending on vice switches and that large telcos always
underestimated capex and they will most likely increase it later this year.
We heard the same from P.Jonson from BARS and other vendors.
You must be exhausted after you wrote over 200 negative post SI
