Bobby.............

The Kondratieff and Kitchen cycles agree with Smelly's analysis that we should get one last 5th wave rise ending the year 2000 or early 2001 before the Big Kahuna Wave takes over.. The site below was written a few years back, look under "The Kondratieff Cycle" and "The Financial Cycle" on the left bar.. Interesting reading!

Besides, How Much Higher Can They Pump Those Dogs

I thought high energy was a problem for AA.

I also thought that an economic slowdown and energy costs were a problem for CAT and GM.

GE and KO now have PE's higher than MSFT's or INTC.

And I guess debt problems aren't a problem for C and JPM.
Isn't there also some issue concerning derivatives for JPM.

WMT may do OK but isn't a PE of 35 a little rich for a discount retailer before a Bah Humbug Christmas.

I didn't know that you worked at MCD, but they were down today anyway. <gg>

BTW - Gold still suks

Well Mr. Beara.. i have to concur..that the Dow is setting up for a fall... i do expect that money to coem back into the NASDAQ though... as the dow is clearly overextended. Many have stated that the nasdaw ill bottom first.... but it seems that has not happened with that Doji on the dow that sure looked like a bottom, shichj leads me to beleive we have a tad more downside in the nas first before we can put on our year end party hats jsut yet. Nas 2600-2800 should do it.
