Oh brother.. David claimed; "You are really indoctrinated by the liberal media, but you didn't even get the media lies correct. Acid rain wasn't claimed to be from trees, only smog was and it is.' Who told you that.. the "scientists" paid for by the leading industrial companies? yeesh.. I'd laugh if i didnt think you were trying to claim that as being serious. As for the trees and acid rain part.. I am positive it was asserted by Reagan and his "science advisors" that acid rain came from trees and othe natural things.. I remember those comments were widely reported on by the canadian media at the time and attacked by them, environmental groups, and the Canadian government. I mean.. even prime Minister Mulroney, a conservative leader and buddy-buddy to Reagan, was forced to admit that these statements had no scientific basis in fact, and eventually got Reagan to manage to sign an agreement. If I have to.. I'll dig thru old Canadian newspaper archives to prove thats what Reagan and his officials claimed. Claiming smog comes from trees and acid rain comes from trees is almost akin to the tobacco companies claiming smoking doesnt cause cancer.. or do you support that line of thought too?
