Well I looked at nbc and cnbc and msnbc and I really did not see anything special in terms of

an industry-leading, high-performance real-time graphics solution-giving the NBC network the ability to render fully anti-aliased 3D imagery and text in real-time as well as update graphics templates

On the other hand cool is as cool understands and the capabilities of this kind of equipment may be alien to the network folks who have it.
