07:41 ET Cisco Fallout : Cisco reported that it consciously built inventory during the qtr due to concerns over supplier lead times and that it plans to reduce total inventory levels over the next 1-2 qtrs. While it is not clear which components CSCO built inventory, Merrill Lynch lists a number of communications-IC companies that could experience weakness from a drawn down of inventory: GALT (20%-30% exposure); PMCS (10%-15%); BRCM (15%); MMCN (55%); AMCC (10%); VTSS (11%).

Kayaker, He actually suggested or recommended to buy QCOM, JDSU and AMCC?

If so that is great for you. I have not read in any of the newsletters that I have received a recommendation to buy anything.
