I Will buy a little more if Avnx goes much lower. I just don't see this sector of the optical infrastructure build out, slowing down, specifically the build out of the metro. areas. NT and CSCO confirmed the rapid growth in the metro area, in their recent conference calls. If anything I see the big players getting more serious about building out their optical network. Look at WCOM, they aren't fooling around, they are dumping MCI long distance voice, to put all their energy into WCOM'S datta/internet operations. Its make or brake for WCOM, I bet they are counting on AVNX's state of the art optical approache to pull them through. When they are the first to have AVNX's system installed they will have the premium optical system on the planet, which should win them the business of the top company's around the world, at possible premium rates. I plan to hold these shares for the next four years anyway. therefore I am not worried about the mkt. near term. Prior to this I traded AVNX's stock. I may continue to trade some shares, but in a sepperate short term trading account. I knew about QCOM four years before the stock took off, I let myself get talked out of buy shares at 25. In the fourth year after I heard about QCOM, the stock went from 25 to 750 or so. I agree with Gilder's point, AVNX's superior optical physics will bring the telcom world around to their approach, for connecting the optical network, in the metro areas, just like the world came around to QCOM's CDMA approach. Dave you were right I have see strong hands buying all week at these levels. Duke we may see AVNX touch some of the lower levels you mentioned, but that will be a gift if that happens, and I'll be their buying. Good luck all, I am excited, about this ride like others on this board, and feel blessed to have conviction about it. Don't forget, building out the optical network is the primary key piece of the infastructure of for 21 century, this is where it is at, this is where the high tech growth is happening. For every telcom that doesn't step up to the plate to preform this build out, another will take its place. The build out of the of the optical network is critical, as it is the basic the platform that supports all the co.s for the 21 century economy. This build out is not slowing down, just the opposite, its just beginning, and there is far more work to be done than connecting country to country, or city to city. Now all the sepperate connections in each city around the world have to be made, and many feel AVNX's patented technology makes them the number one choice for this job. This is a mind bogglingly huge mkt. we are talking about, and we are still at the ground floor of this roll out. If you don't think strong hands are buying this stock just look at the chart, and the recent activity, you will see the stock has held flat patterns either side of 100. The controled buying by institutions has been their consistently, to buy shares as sellers emerge, but the institutions have been carefull not to push the price of the stock up, because they want to buy at low levels, yet the persistence of these flat patterns shows you how serious the buying is. I am a seat of the pants investor, and from where I sit this is how I see it, You have to kick the tires for your self, best of luck.
