let's not forget, pooling of interests accounting has also a lot to do with their acquisitiveness. imo many acquisitions are not economical per se, but are used to exploit this accounting loophole.
a 5% increase in the share count IS dramatic once you have 7 billion shares outstanding. in a down market, this huge supply overhang does count.
it's actually priced beyond perfection for a company that large.
before i sound like a complete pessimist, let me add that it is without doubt the premier large cap tech company...its record and stock price performance over the years certainly bear this out.
