You got to give a bit of credit for Irelands approach to attracting business, reminds me of what Albany is doing for techs/biotech companies-incentives..Same for SC when attracting Mack truck and BMW-incentives..
"Dublin to get its own Silicon Alley
THE Irish edition of The Sunday Times leads with news of the establishment of a digital district in the heart of Dublin, with the creation of more than 7,000 high technology jobs.

The regeneration project in the Liberties-Coombe area of Dublin's city centre will require an initial government investment of £100m and will be modelled on New York's Silicon Alley.

The district will combine traditional arts like music and film with new computer-based technology.

***Already, about 25 multinationals are thought to be considering locating in the area, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) MediaLab."
