Our records show that EDTA (then trading as GIFT) closed at 10 1/4 bid on June 24, 1996 -- highest close known to us. However, an intraday trade above 10 1/4 could well have taken place.

Durro,

I don't recall the time, and could be wrong as to the precise amount. I'm guessing it was in the first half of 1996 - and could have been on the day of the +$10 close. It was before I started following GIFT, so I can't say for sure what caused the spike. My recollection is that people on this board said the spike occured when the lawsuit was announced, filed or promoted.
