But was it Gore who selected his running mate? "Seeems to me that Gore made a major blunder by nominating Lieberman. Most Jews would have voted for Gore regardless of running mate. But I suspect that quite a few people will vote against Gore because of Lieberman's religion. That's not the way things should be, but unfortunately that is is the way things are. How a supposedly smart politician like Gore could make a blunder like this is beyond me. "
