This means the sound waves leave all protection schemes behind and travel through the air. Once the music has been turned into sound waves to be placed there at the discretion of so-called trusted individual, the music is basically being laundered from ALL protection schemes previously placed on it since even the most basic audio tape recorder can capture these laundered audio waves. This captured music (pirated) is then available to be used in whatever discretion the recorder of the music sees fit. So, when Scott says that the music would have to be plugged into one's head to stop music piracy, that is exactly right since what cannot be heard - cannot be recorded. Of course, if we figure a way of plugging us right into a music system, I think we can be assured that the pirates will figure a way of recording these signals somehow. The Internet is not the evil source of piracy - that has existed well before the Internet. The Internet has only made the distribution of piracy much easier. I personally do not see an answer to stopping out-of-control piracy. Maybe the answer is to rethink how the authors and artists get rewarded for their work! Cheers! Toy>> Toy: Go back to my last post. The REAL Internet should be treated like AIR. The first company or politician that tries to regulate my right to breath AIR should be the LAST one in existence. Goes back to these crazy, inverted mindsets that still believe in these power/control business paradigms. I for one believe they are all complete illusions, facades. You can't control my right to breath air. Technologists that "get" what the REAL internet is all about are going to invert and begin radically embracing a completely different development perspective that begins and ends with ONE thing: THE INDIVIDUAL. Patrick Henry: "Give me LIBERTY or give me DEATH." While in New Hampshire two weeks ago they have this great slogan burned into evey license plate that goes one better: LIVE FREE OR DIE. The Amish sued all the way to the Supreme Court and lost trying to get that one removed. Freedom is the ONLY direction to follow. Radical, wide-open, unlimited energy, light, service, trust and love in the hands of INDIVIDUALS. DISTRUST is what got us all the crap we've been living through to begin with. And those that play the blame/shame game the best get elected. Now here's a radical thought: Disneyworld is a socialist utopia. I've never seen so many lines and downtodden, stressed out parents being led around by their noses by more folks and kids. We had our finest moments playing on the beach swinging my two sons back and forth in the hammock, drinking an unlimited number of drinks from our $7 "We Are ONE" Disney. drink mugs. The fireworks, sound, colors and sights were unbelievably well orchestrated and coordinated. Space Ship EARTH has been updated to included the net and the last vision we got went travelling "back to earth" was Al Gore. Not to be outdone, the MJ and BJ Radio show in the greater Tampa-Orlando market featured MJ and BJ finally making up their minds about who to vote for. And as they so eloquently explained, it all boiled down to "who we felt really cared" for us, me, individuals. Al Gore's campaign workers beat George to the punch and got him to call LIVE on the MJ & BJ show just minutes before while I was in the car. And, INCREDIBLY, here's the BOTTOM LINE: 1) MJ & BJ were AMAZED at Gore's invitation - IF ELECTED - for them to come to the White House..... .....and - not to be outdone and fitting so well with a "no controlling legal authority" Gore White House paradigm.... 2) MJ & BJ were even offered to go on a TRIP on...... ....drum roll.... ....IF elected.... .....more drum rolls.... .....amazing..... .....can't wait..... ....Eric, you reading this....????.... ....here's the ACTUAL FINAL OFFER TO MJ & BJ which was part of causing them to switch from the "undecided" camp to rally support around AL GORE.... A RIDE ON AIR FORCE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 Folks, I could NOT believe what I was hearing. Al Gore calling into a local radio show and offering to buy the "I care" votes from hosts MJ & BJ with an invitation to 1) the White House, and 2) a ride on Air Force ONE. Perhaps it's no wonder why Eric's been SO busy these past several months. All I could think of was DisneyWorld, George Orwell and the incredible impressive gullability of the American electorate. Quite frankly, I happen to want a politician who "cares less" for any caring politicians do only work to expand this "federal mess" which only works to restrict more of our personal freedoms. Constitionally speaking.... Paul, what'd ya them of "them apples??" Peace. GO!! God Bless America!!
