I thought the trip from $56 to $48 was due to the Luke article which has turned out to be a piece of crap... and should have been ignored.

What did Luke say that has turned out to be a piece of crap?

Cisco Systems Slips 3.3% After Beating Street
By TSC Staff

11/7/00 10:05 AM ET

Cisco Systems (CSCO:Nasdaq - news) was down 3.3% in early trading. After
the close Monday, the networking giant reported first-quarter earnings of 18 cents
per share, beating the Street's estimate of 17 cents and the year-ago 12 cents.
The company raised 2001 revenue growth projections but analysts were
concerned about signs of an inventory build-up.

TP: Look I was just explaining what the runup on the rumor portion was. I forget the Luke article but as I remember he use to post on these boards. The point is he is no better informed than we are. I really don't understand these markets today. It is kind of like Alice in Wonderland. A good report results in a beheading and a middling report results in rave reviews. Go figgah (as they say here in Maine)! JFD
