Vol - Under Pres. Reagan - DEEP recession in 1983. Under Pres. Bush remember 1990.

Personally I happen to thnk all the US presidents have been extraordinary people and amongst the best leaders the World has had but from a market point of view and especially the last eight years ( save of course for the last eight months) well "if it ain't broke why fix it".

It just seems to me that there is real likelihood of a really big recession starting next year coupled with slowing economies in Germany and Japan and who knows what financial problems in Korea which look like they about set to give us another Asian contagion type headache. One has ot ask is this the best time to change horses given prior history of recessions?

Having said that I do like Mr Bush he seems to have a very nice manner and sense of humour.

Best regards,

L
