You and I agree on controlling outrageous pork barrel spending. Perhaps you should explore further the pork-barrel projects that Trent Lott is sending to Mississippi. Only a handful of Repubs joined John McCain in voting no on the recent omnibus spending bill because of excessive pork spending.

By the way, local right-wing radio talk show host just said it looks that the Senate will switch from GOP to Democrat, based on conversation he had with both of Ohio's senators last night. That one surprised me. GOP probably will lose seats in Delaware, Missouri, Michigan, Montana, he said. This guy is way to the right of Rush Limbo, so wht he said surprised me big-time. Actually, that wouldn't be so bad: I get my big tax cut, but Bush wouldn't have enough votes in the Senate to nominate Clarence Thomas clones to high court.
