kvkkc1, You are preaching to the choir here. We both want the same thing, but work on a different time table. I'd like tax relief as well but I'm willing to settle for a lesser one in favor of debt reduction. I'm concerned if we don't pay it off while we have surplus and conditions change we would find ourselves still paying interest while needing increased revenue. Our interest bill each year is huge; if I recall, the third largest spending item in the budget. I posted on this once before. JFH
