oh certainly...in fact i traded already in and out of them once. currently i'm hanging on for my predetermined targets however, as i'm not usually given to trading every wiggle. essentially what happened was that i sold the first huge bounce and then reconsidered and bought the first pullback again. i am trying most of the time to have a market neutral position. it's less exciting than pure directional bets, but the advantage is the market can't surprise me...i will profit from any extreme move. when we're marking time i'm suffering some time decay from the options employed in this strategy, but i try to make up for that by picking high beta stuff for both long and short positions.
i fully expect the trash stocks to re-test their lows eventually. i'll be back buying again when that happens. note however that any number of things could happen that might help me change my mind about that. nevertheless, i try not to betray my buying/selling discipline. except in the gold stocks, which i just keep buying because i think they represent a significant long term opportunity...to no avail thus far of course.
