Huh?

A company's stock price doesn't reflect the "smartness" of it's CEO. The CEO of Ford may be the most brilliant person ever, but there's no way Ford will have the market cap of Microsoft.

Having said that, I was jesting anyway. He may be brilliant...or he may just be lucky.

Actually, Berg's target for the holy one is higher than that. Not that he's necessarily right, but he believes he'll make more money from the holy one than IDTI, and that's a new comparison. It used to be "more than from SUNW" ;-)

In edit, Berg has historically been a good timer, and has angered more than a few people selling near tops for companies on which he was on the board. He obviously thought it was a good time to sell IDTI, but he also had good places to redeploy the capital with the phenomenal build-out he has going on in Silicon Valley. He has about 2 million square feet of R&D space under development.
