>It sure sounds like you are trying to influence the results of the election much like a basher/short tries to influence the price of a stock he is short.

Not possible

>Me thinks you will sway not one vote on this thread, let alone the results of the election. BTW, Voltaire & others here are not bad people because they want the opponent of your choice to win, so why do you act that way in your posts?

Nothing can be further from the truth. I love Volty. I think Bush is a bad person. Have nothing personal against Volty.

>OK, OK, I realize I'm wasting my time on something most folks get far too irrationally emotional about. I guess that is why they say one should never discuss religion & politics in mixed company.

True

>Funny though..... for something so emotional, why is voter turnout historically low? Seems we care to express our opinion by making verbal assaults against those with a different view, the use of innuendo, deceit, rumor, etc. Yet, where it really counts.... in the voting booth..... apathy..... hmmmm

Voter turn-out this year will be the highest it has been in decades. Maybe that's why I'm here making verbal assaults. Not enough others are :)

Anyway, I didn't mean to get political. I only want to warn people about the election and how it affects their trades/investments. As I said before, the high voter turn-out IMHO killed Bush's chance. Or do you only want people here that go your way and think along your lines? Oh, that's right, you're a Republican. Silly me.

Anyway, as a dear friend says, you could be right.

In NYC the turnout is apparently high.

I realized that if I had bot more csco Nov 60s today in the a.m., when they were down to about 1/2, I could have sold for more than a double this afternoon! There are about 20,000 traded today. I mean, if you bought 1,000 for about 50K you could walk away with 100K a few hours later.
